"President’s Day Weekend, annually. Since 1990 it has been held in Lake Havasu City; right on the beautiful Colorado River in Arizona. Like a PGI convention, we have seminars, trade shows, class C and pyrotechnic supply vending, open Class C and Class B shooting, BBQ's, afterglow parties, and much more. If you have never been to a Winter Blast, you don't know what you’re missing. WWB is the premier pyrotechnic event of the Winter Time. Ep 22 The 12 Days of Christmas Crossfit

As we travel sometimes we don't have a mountain to climb or a beach to walk and staying in shape during the holidays is important. This year we tried something new, CrossFit. As we travel we come across gyms all across the country offering the CrossFit style workout and it looked interesting. So we gave it two solid month and it has been a blast!!

On special occasions, CrossFit Gyms have special workouts and Christmas Eve is one of those days. The 12 Days of Christmas, Crossfit Style. No matter what skill level all you need to compete is effort. The coaches will scale the workout to challenge you and keep you moving. Aurora and I had a blast. It was a great gift to give ourselves on Christmas Eve, the gift of health.

Happy Halloween!!! Our 5th year on the road and we ended up in Ft Worth Texas. The girls made their own costumes this year, you will have to watch the episode to see which characters they were. We recap the last five years of Halloween. It can be a little chaotic trying to find a place to trick or treat or other Halloween events but we have always been surprised and enjoyed our time around this country.

Another great week in the Black Hills of South Dakota!! RvAmericanDream is spending another week at Heartland Ranch Campground and the music is great. The Friday Nighters play every Friday during the summer season and it is always a good time. It is great to be around other people that love America and are proud to sing about it. We spent some time in the Fort Myers / Punta Gorda area of Florida over the winter. Aurora wanted to try something new and we found a great beginners quilting class at the White Daisy Quilting Shop. It was a brand new business to the area and Cheryl was excited to take Aurora on as a student. I have posted a link to the Quilt shop and class Aurora took.

Life changes and we have been spending a longer time in the same place. With all of us busy during the day it is nice to find a quick get away for a couple of hours. Soco Falls and Waterrock Knob are two hikes within 30 minutes of our campground. Both are great for their own reasons.

Best of Pigeon Forge and Smoky Mountains

We have spent many weeks in the Tennessee Smoky Mountains and we just love the area!!! After spending a full month we wanted to express our thanks to our favorite business and recommend our favorite hikes. This is one of our longer videos but there is so much to do in the area we try to give you a head start on some of the great dining, entertainment in Pigeon Forge and hiking in the Smoky Mountains.

My Very Potter Birthday

We celebrate our daughter's birthday in Gatlinburg, TN. This is new for us to celebrate a birthday on the road because we are usually at home in Chicago. My daughter took the week looking for what to do, creating decorations, meal planning and it was a fun weekend. A very Potter weekend! We own a Coachman Apex 300BHS and we hated the solid blue LEDs that came factory installed. So we changed them. We found a set of KORJO Dream Color LED Strip Lights for about $50 on Amazon. This video will work for any 12v led light strip but we did like the Korjo 32' strip.
