One of the activities on this trip I wanted to do was to educate myself and the kids about the military.
It was great to bring the stories we had studied to life.
This is a year round campground with a lot of people who enjoy outdoor activities.

A bit of a change of pace from Acadia but exactly what we were looking for. It was an amazing forest through trees and shrubs that I have not seen in a forest and two waterfalls, it was exceptional, quiet and peaceful.
We missed the U.S.S. Constitution last time we were in Boston, it made me sad. But not this time.

This campground sits just outside of Desert Island at the Trenton Bridge. It is a fantastic location.
