Philadelphia, PA in 7 hours
We left our friends in Boston and dove down to New Jersey and stayed the night at a hotel. We then woke and drove into Philadelphia. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. It was the first city I wish we had more time to explore but we had three goals in Philadelphia, see Independence Hall, The Franklin Museum and leave with enough time to get to Washington, DC and continue driving south toward Auburn, AL. We accomplished all of those things, saw the Liberty Bell and the kids earned another Junior Ranger Badge.

After learning a little history we thought we would run over to the Franklin Institute and have some fun. Because we are members of The Museum of Science and Industry they have a reciprocal agreement with many other museums around the U.S. One of them being the Franklin Institute and therefore we were able to get in free, an $80 savings!
The Franklin Institute was founded in honor of America's first scientist, Ben Franklin. We had about 3 hours left before it closed but thankfully we found rockstar parking.

Let's go have some fun! We loved how interactive this museum was. There were games to play, jumping, running and mars rovers to build.

We were only able to see a very small part of Philadelphia but what we saw was beautiful. We hope to return and spend more time, but on to DC we went.
