My Emerald Coast Experience at Topsail Hill
Topsail hill is a state park located near Destin Florida. It has a nice campground with full hook-ups new the beach. My family and I stayed here a week in November after we tailgated at auburn university. When we arrived, I immediately wanted to go to the beach’ but we were to busy to go for the next couple days. Luckily, on the third day’ when mom had a break from work, we decided to go to the beach. We biked the mile long road through the state park. When my sister and I reached the beach we picked the perfect spot. It was away from people, which wasn’t hard to find since the beach was mostly empty.

After we picked a spot and set up, my sister and I were more than excited to play in the ocean. At first we only ventured a short distance into the water, but when a few splash fights and cartwheels were over, we had no problem bounding into the ocean. We jumped over the waves, swam against the current, and even tried body surfing! We both had a fun time, and it was my favorite pat of the visit.

When we finished playing, it was chilly, so aurora and I decide to take a walk on the beach to warm up and dry off. We walked down the beach admiring the white sand and clear water. As we traveled further Aurora started to tell a funny story that we both laughed over. We strolled for about a mile until dad called us back. When we came we all decided it wast time to go.
I had a fantastic time here. I loved the beauty of the beach, with its snow-while sand and transparent emerald water. Now I truly understand why this area is called the emerald coast.
